Spokane Polo Club & Davenport Wedding, Coryelle + Weston

Posted on Leave a commentPosted in Weddings

One of the things I've always loved about horses is how they manage to bring people from completely different walks of life together. There's something so evocative about the smell of hay in the loft, the feel of a horse's mane under your fingers, and the whisper of whiskers on your neck.

Coryelle and Weston met playing Polo, and I can't stress how awesome it was to be around fellow horse people for their engagement session and their wedding. Horses will always be a huge part of both of their lives, and it was completely reflected in their venue at the Spokane Polo Club. Some notable mentions include: their Blue Heelers as ring bearers, Coryelle almost losing her bouquet to a hungry pony, Weston playing Polo at his own wedding, and last but not least, capturing these two and their beautiful smiles, with eyes full of fun and laughter.

Red Barn Farms Washington Wedding, Amber + Dominic

Posted on Leave a commentPosted in Weddings

Amber and Dominic used to pass each other in the halls, occasionally exchanging glances. A few shared quiet looks, plenty of laughs, and one large classroom at Boise State University later, they started dating. Amber grew up here on the Palouse in Washington, and didn't let her new Boise roots deter her from getting married in her hometown. Dominic's big Italian family flew in from all over. Their wedding day was stunning, beginning at Amber's family farm and ending at Red Barn Farms in Colton, WA. Between their sense of humor and Amber's bubbly personality, it's impossible not to smile around these two!

Dominic couldn't keep his eyes off Amber all day. Everything was absolutely perfect.

Sedona California Desert Destination Elopement, Ryan + Sam

Posted on Leave a commentPosted in Destination Elopement, Destination Engagement, Destination Wedding, Weddings

Have you ever heard of Sedona? When I was first planning my trip here, I hadn't. Sedona is in the middle of Arizona, in a little tourist-y town that reminds me surprisingly of Coeur d'Alene. There is an amazing Juice shop on main street, and all the coffee shops and restaurants have this amazing view of some of the most beautiful rock formations I've ever seen.

Ryan and Sam have been traveling for awhile now, and it was fitting they chose such a beautiful backdrop for their elopement. Sam had such an infectious personality, it was impossible not to laugh while she was telling you about her adventures. Ryan is a calm, steady guy who enjoys drone photography and In-and-Out Burger. It's funny when you see two people next to each other, and somehow they both become MORE because of the other one. You get that feeling immediately from Ryan and Sam, and it was amazing watching them light each other up in Sedona.

Oakland California Temple Destination Wedding, Logan + Ryan

It's so obvious Logan and Ryan are such a great match for each other. They both have such fun loving, easy going personalities and they are great at making each other laugh. I always think you've found your soulmate when that person can make you laugh no matter what, and that's what Ryan and Logan are! The day started rainy but the clouds parted just in time for their ceremony and first look. I hope the sun always shines on them for their happily ever after! Congratulations Ryan and Logan!

Quirky Forest Wedding at N-Sid-Sen Campground, Letty + Nathaniel

Posted on Leave a commentPosted in Weddings

It's hard to describe the beauty that N-Sid-Sen Campground holds. My couples who get married there are drawn to it long after they've spent summers there. Deer wander through the camp, the log cabins are rustic and homey, and the woods around the camp feel comforting and tranquil. It was so fitting for Letty and Nathaniel to choose this place, not only because Letty's family had spent so much time there, but also because Letty and Nathaniel have been nothing but welcoming, warm, and full of adventure, since I met them. They have such a great energy together, and their day was full of so much love for each other and all of their guests. It was such an honor to be a part of their day, and I'm excited to show off some of the images!

I couldn't have chosen a more magical location for Mark and Leanne's gorgeous Teton wedding. It was truly a winter wonderland, and Mark and Leanne (both active military, thank you for your service!) had so much love for one another it absolutely shone through on their day. Add their three lovely dogs and it was absolutely perfect. Enjoy this epitome of a winter wedding!

Intimate Wedding at Meadowinds Castle, Clara + Chelsea

Starbucks is for coffee, cappuccinos, and meet-cutes. Clara and Chelsea met while brewing coffee together, and they fell for each other while sharing their love of cats, backpacking, and the arts.

It’s no secret Meadowinds is one of my favorite wedding venues, I got married there myself! The sunset on the hill the castle rests on is always breathtaking, but not as breathtaking as the connection these two have.
