It goes without saying, but I'm going to say it anyway: Italy is magical.
Whether it be an elderly couple dreaming of spending their twilight years under the Tuscan sun sipping Chianti Classico, or a bored millennial sitting in class fantasizing about exploring castle ruins in Naples, everyone knows Italy is the bee's knees.
I was fortunate enough to visit Italy in September, and let me tell you, it's a place that truly lives up to the hype in every way. The sun, the vineyards, the ruins, the architecture, the people, the wine, the pasta (omg the pasta!!!). It was such an incredible country and it was made even better by getting to experience it with people I love.
Logan is my younger brother. Growing up, we had your standard sibling rivalry: We would fight and tease one another, but at the end of the day we'd have each other's backs no matter what. He and Megan got together in college, and from the very second I met her, I knew she was absolutely perfect for my brother. Megan is happy and cheerful, Logan is serious and stoic. Megan is a dreamer, Logan is a realist. Megan can have a conversation for hours, Logan is a man of few words. As much of a cliche as it's become to say over the years, Megan and Logan truly, genuinely complete each other. There's simply no one that knows how to pierce through Logan's strong, stern exterior and coax a genuine smile from him like Megan. They're truly special, and getting to capture their authentic connection during our adventure in Italy was such an amazing privilege.
I hope it's evident in these images how dearly I love them both.
